Valley Forge Casino Resort today announced an exciting new partnership with NBA legend and Philadelphia icon Charles Barkley to create a unique steakhouse and cigar lounge experience at the Boyd Gaming-owned resort.

The steakhouse will fuse contemporary elegance with nods to Barkley’s storied career, featuring personal memorabilia and design elements that celebrate his unmistakable character and deep ties to the greater Philadelphia area. Next door, the Humidor cigar lounge will evoke a luxurious, club-like atmosphere. A walk-in humidor will serve as the visual centerpiece, complemented by private lockers and a bar.
Known as one of the greatest players in NBA history, Barkley first rose to fame as a power forward for the Philadelphia 76ers from 1984 to 1992. Following his retirement from the NBA in 2000, Barkley embarked on a second career as an NBA analyst, becoming internationally renowned over the past 25 years as a commentator and panelist on Inside the NBA.

As part of the collaboration, Boyd Gaming will make an annual contribution to Barkley’s charitable foundation, The Charles Barkley Foundation, dedicated to supporting education and historically Black colleges and universities.
The addition of this steakhouse will mark the next phase in Valley Forge Casino Resort’s multi-year transformation, which includes new dining, entertainment and guest experience upgrades across the property, as well as a modernization of the property’s casino floor.
