LAS VEGAS— The legendary Pointer Sisters, known for their dynamic performances and a string of pop music classics, are set to electrify the Orleans Showroom for two unforgettable nights on Friday, September 5 and Saturday, September 6, 2025.
The Pointer Sisters began their formal vocal training in their father's church in West Oakland, California, quickly evolving into a globally recognized sensation. A collaboration with producer Richard Perry led to their rock 'n' roll debut, yielding chart-topping success with hits like the cover of Bruce Springsteen's “Fire” and the original song, “Happiness.” These early successes propelled albums like “Energy” and “Special Things” to gold certification.
The group’s dynamic sound made them one of the most popular acts on MTV, launching an era of massive hits. “Jump (For My Love)” raced to the top of the pop charts, “I'm So Excited” became a timeless Top 10 classic with over 2.5 million radio plays, and “Neutron Dance” dominated both MTV and the film “Beverly Hills Cop”.
“Break Out”, their debut album, earned two Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, and triple-Platinum RIAA certification, marking it as the best-selling album of their career.
Celebrating over two decades in the industry, including their 20th-anniversary album, “Only Sisters Can Do That,” The Pointer Sisters received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1994. Today, Ruth, Issa, and Sadako maintain a busy touring schedule, performing their beloved catalogue for audiences worldwide.
Showtime is 8:00 p.m. on both nights. Tickets go on sale at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 30 and start at $74.50 plus taxes and fees. Tickets can be purchased online at www.orleans.boydgaming.com.
