LAS VEGAS—Lisa Lisa’s “Take You Home” Tour, presented by Pacific Concert Group, is set to hit Orleans Arena on Friday, June 6. Celebrating its momentous 40th anniversary, the concert will feature chart-topping pop, R&B and rock artists from the ‘80s and ‘90s, including Lisa Lisa, Exposé, Montell Jordan and more.
New York City native, Lisa Lisa, took the freestyle and pop world by storm in the mid-1980’s as a member of the band Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam. The RIAA Platinum-selling group was known for iconic hits including “Head to Toe,” “Lost in Emotion,” “Can You Feel the Beat” and more. Lisa Lisa also released solo projects, including her 1994 album “LL77” and 2009 album “Life ‘n Love.” In addition to a successful music career, Lisa Lisa is an accomplished television and stage actress, having made appearances on Nickelodeon’s “Taina” as well as numerous Broadway and Off-Broadway shows.
Iconic recording and dance group Exposé splashed onto the music scene in 1984 and never looked back, becoming the first group in history to have four top 10 hits on their debut album. Over the next decade, the group achieved monumental success in the industry, dominating the charts both in the U.S. and internationally across multiple genres, including Top 40, R&B, and Adult Contemporary. Their smash hit “Seasons Change” helped the group make history as the first female group to chart seven consecutive top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.
R&B sensation Montell Jordan shook up the music industry in 1995 with his first single “This Is How We Do It,” securing the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven consecutive weeks. The hitmaker’s first album, named after his breakout single, achieved RIAA Platinum status with sales exceeding one million copies. He is also known for is 1998 hit “Let’s Ride” featuring veteran hip-hop artist Master P and RIAA Platinum-selling artist Silkk the Shocker.
Rounding out the lineup are ‘80s and ‘90s legends Rob Base, C&C Music Factory, Tag Team, Candyman, and The Original Mary Jane Girls – Maxi & Cheri.
