LAS VEGAS— Boyd Gaming wrapped up its tenth annual holiday decorating competition, “Wreaths of Hope,” with nearly $70,000 in total funds being awarded to 38 non-profits across the Las Vegas Valley.
This year, the beloved holiday competition had 38 wreaths displayed at Boyd Gaming destinations including: Aliante, The Orleans, Gold Coast, Jokers Wild, Suncoast, Sam’s Town, Cannery and California.
From November 25 through December 11, Boyd Gaming guests cast their vote for their favorite wreath at each venue or online via Boyd Gaming’s social media platforms. A prize pool of up to $8,500 was distributed at each of the eight properties after votes were tallied, with a guaranteed prize of $1,000.
More than 26,000 in-person votes were tabulated, along with thousands of online votes cast through the Wreaths of Hope social media contest. An additional prize pool of $5,000 was awarded to the top three performing charities in the social media competition.
