LAS VEGAS—Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall is excited to announce the return of Mystic Falls Park®’s enchanting winter wonderland display. This festive attraction will showcase elaborate décor, more than 26,000 points of light and a captivating nine-minute holiday laser light show. Visitors can experience this holiday spectacle beginning at sundown on Wednesday, November 27, then daily through Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
The holiday-themed attraction at Mystic Falls Park® is a time-honored tradition dating back to 1994. The whimsical, family-friendly winter display presents an 18-foot Christmas tree decorated with festive ornaments and thousands of twinkling lights, topped with a starburst tree topper. Garland-wrapped lampposts, streamers, lanterns and wreaths fill the atrium, embellished with hundreds of lights, ornaments and red holiday bows.
Guests will have the opportunity enjoy snow-covered landscapes, animatronic figures adorned with Santa hats, oversized pinecones, and elegantly wrapped gift boxes. Several large winter-themed décor will be located throughout the park for photo opportunities with the whole family. Mystic Falls Park®’s beloved gazebo will also be adorned with snow, embellished with garlands, twinkling icicle trim, and oversized candy canes at its entrance. In total, the lit-up décor features 26,350 points of light and approximately 13,175 feet, or 2.5 miles, of wire.
Also returning this year is the nine-minute holiday laser light show, which is the centerpiece of the display. The laser light show features a variety of classic holiday songs, including “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Let It Snow,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” and “Frosty the Snowman.” Performances run every hour, between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. Adding to the wintery experience, Mystic Falls Park® will make it snow in the Las Vegas desert every night through the new year.
Santa will participate in the festivities by visiting the Mystic Falls Park® gazebo beginning Friday, November 29 and through Sunday, December 22. Santa will be available from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, except for 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. as Santa will be away feeding his reindeer. Guests are invited to stop by and take photos with Santa using their own cameras.
Additionally, Boyd Gaming will spread holiday cheer by awarding nearly $70,000 to nonprofit organizations participating in its annual Wreaths of Hope competition. Starting Monday, November 25 through Wednesday, December 11, guests 18 years and older visiting Sam’s Town can vote for their favorite decorated wreaths for the chance to win the top prize at the property. Wreaths will be located on the pillars facing the casino, adjacent to the front desk escalators near Mystic Falls Park®. Each of Boyd’s eight Las Vegas properties will recognize the three highest-performing charities with a grand prize, guaranteeing that every participating organization receives a minimum of $1,000. A supplementary contest held on social media will offer additional opportunities for charities to secure extra cash prizes.
