MICHIGAN CITY— Blue Chip Casino Hotel Spa today announced the completion of a total renovation of all 302 guestrooms and suites in the Spa Blu Tower. The hotel renovation headlines a recent reinvestment campaign throughout the property that includes the addition of two new restaurants and a future upgrade of the resort’s upscale spa blu.

With the Spa Blu Tower renovation, Blue Chip has brought a fresh, modern aesthetic to the 242 standard guestrooms and 60 suites in the high-rise tower. Ranging from 845 to 1,500 square-feet, each room exudes a modern urban apartment flair, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that offer stunning views of Lake Michigan and the surrounding area. The elegant bathrooms are adorned with marble finishes and intricate decorative tiling. For guests looking for more space to stretch out, the Vista King and Solara King also offer a sitting area ranging in size.
In addition to the recent hotel room remodel, the casino-resort has also introduced two new dining options over the last year. In December 2023, Blue Chip welcomed Lakeside Kitchen, a fast-casual dining restaurant with homestyle comfort food. This was followed in June 2024 by Infusion, a convenient quick-service dining option with espresso beverages, pastries, sandwiches and more for guests on the go.
Additionally, Blue Chip is in the early phases of designing an all-new spa blu. The new space will offer an even more restorative and relaxing experience for guests and locals alike, set to debut in fall 2025.
