VINTON– Known for possessing one of the most uplifting voices in R&B history, Jeffrey Osborne will take over the Delta Event Center on Saturday, August 19.
Hailing from Providence, Rhode Island, Osborne grew up surrounded by music. In 1969, the 15-year-old singer and songwriter hit the ground running quickly making a name for himself with popular funk and soul group, L.T.D. After more than a decade with the band, Osborne pursued a solo career producing Top 40 hits such as, "Don't You Get So Mad," "Stay With Me Tonight" and "Love Power.
Throughout his solo career, Osborne has earned five gold and platinum albums and acquired international success with “On The Wings of Love,” featuring popular singer James Ingram. His most notable work includes independent labels from the early 2000’s, as well as the cover albums “From the Soul” and “A Time for Love,” which features songs with Rick Braun, Chaka Khan and the late great George Duke.
