MICHIGAN CITY, IN–Boyd Gaming’s Blue Chip Casino Hotel Spa announced donations of $25,000, each, to Paladin and Boys & Girls Clubs of La Porte County, two non-profit organizations supporting La Porte County, Indiana families.
Boys & Girls Clubs of La Porte County (BGCLPC) works to help young people reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. Founded in 1996 as Boys & Girls Club of Michigan City, the organization recently changed its name to demonstrate their commitment to exploring how to best serve the entire community. Their six club locations range from urban to rural and help give local kids the tools they need to achieve great futures. BGCLPC operates daily after school and hosts a full-day summer camp with access to homework help, mentoring, sports and recreation programming, arts experiences, computer technology, community service opportunities and more.

Paladin, a non-profit social services agency, serves La Porte County residents of all ages and abilities. Their mission is to serve as determined advocates for children, people with disabilities, seniors and expecting mothers through a multitude of the highest quality programs and services. Paladin provides a helping hand to individuals diagnosed with intellectual delays, including respite opportunities to families, early childhood education programs for children between the ages of three and five, and transportation services to ensure individuals can attend needed medical appointments.
