LAS VEGAS—Boyd Gaming is celebrating the season of giving with its eighth annual holiday competition, “Wreaths of Hope.” A total of 35 local charities will compete in one of Las Vegas’ favorite holiday traditions, as Boyd Gaming awards a prize pool of nearly $65,000 to non-profit organizations across the Valley.
Local non-profit organizations will decorate wreaths in the spirit of their organization that will be displayed at seven Boyd Gaming destinations: Aliante, The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Sam’s Town, Cannery and Main Street Station.
Beginning Monday, November 21 through Friday, December 16, the public is invited to vote for their favorite charity’s decorated wreath at each participating property, online via Boyd Gaming social media platforms or by visiting BoydGaming.com/Wreaths-of-Hope. The seven Las Vegas properties will each award an $8,500 prize pool to participating charities with a first-place prize of $3,000 and a guaranteed minimum cash prize of $1,000 for all participants. Winners will be decided by public vote at each destination. A Boyd Rewards player’s card account is required to vote on property.
The citywide competition will also include a social media contest that will award an additional prize pool of $5,000 to southern Nevada’s top three performing charities with a $2,500 first-place prize, $1,500 second-place prize and $1,000 third-place prize.
