The interior design of Charter 18 Modern Tavern blends rustic charm with modern sophistication. A herringbone oak floor is accented by black-and-white marble mosaic tile, while a neutral, earth-tone palette is brought to life with navy-blue fabrics on barstools and banquette seating. Black-washed brick walls and satin-brass chandeliers add a touch of industrial elegance, creating a warm and inviting ambiance for every guest.
The menu includes dishes like the Havana Stack, a mojo-smoked pork, shaved ham, golden BBQ, melted Swiss, house-brined pickles, chimichurri; Sweet Heat Chicken, a batter-dipped crispy fried chicken thigh, hot honey drizzle, serrano chili slaw and roasted garlic aioli; the Pastrami Reuben featuring zesty sauerkraut, grilled onions, melted Swiss, butter-griddled marble rye and house sauce and New England Clam Chowda, featuring
little-neck clams, smoked bacon, Yukon potatoes, onions, celery and heavy cream.
