LAS VEGAS—Engelbert Humperdinck, the legendary voice behind timeless love anthems like “Release Me” and “This Moment in Time,” is set to return to the Orleans Showroom for two nights only on Friday, November 28 and Saturday, November 29. Titled “A Winter World of Love,” the show will feature a special setlist of holiday classics and all of his fan-favorite greatest hits.
Engelbert’s career has spanned more than 50 years. In that time, the celebrated English singer has released over 100 albums, including 64 gold and 35 platinum albums, and has received four Grammy nominations. His first single, “Release Me,” spent a record-breaking 56 consecutive weeks on the charts, earning it a spot in the Guinness Book of Records.
While his music has transcended time, Engelbert has also connected with a new generation. His hit song “A Man Without Love” was featured in Marvel’s “Moon Knight” and his music was also included in the film “Bullet Train.”
His latest album, “All About Love,” was released this year in honor of his 87th birthday. Recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, this new album contains renditions of Barry White’s “You’re the First, The Last, My Everything,” The Bee Gees’ “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart,” The Manhattans’ “Kiss and Say Goodbye” and other love ballads.
Showtime is 8p.m. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, August 29 and start at $84.95 plus taxes and fees. Tickets can be purchased online at www.orleans.boydgaming.com.
