LAS VEGAS—Lightning struck twice in a day at The Orleans last week, as two lucky players hit Boyd Gaming’s pai-gow progressive jackpot on Sunday, August 11 – winning a total of nearly $246,000.
Las Vegas local Adrian was first to score on August 11, winning the progressive linked jackpot of $169,951. Adrian’s $1 side bet turned into a massive payday when he was dealt a seven-card straight flush of two through eight of hearts with a joker.
Just hours later, a visitor from Texas was dealt another seven-card straight flush at the Orleans, scoring the recently reset jackpot of $75,885.
